Hey there, blog world! Before I get started in what I want to talk about tonight, I want to apologize. Yes, I am sorry for neglecting you for over a month. I know I shouldn't make excuses, but November and December were a living hell for my brain. SO MUCH BUSY WORK! I had to write a stinking novel in November and then in December do Christmas pageant where I was the fourth wise man. FOURTH! There was actually no need for me in the pageant, but of course, everyone has to contribute in some way. But, the best part had to be during rehearsals when my other three fellow wise men and I sat in the back and gossiped about everyone in the class and exchanged phrases like, "OMG, why is she dating HIM?" and "She wants to date juniors? Watch her get pregnant in like, a month." and also "Okay, when do we walk out? It's after this song, right?" It was all quite fun.
The pageant stuff was over by about the second week in December, but then all of my teachers decided to make up a ton of projects for us to finish and tests to take. This all went up to about the 20th, when there were no more tests to be taken or speeches to be given and pretty much everything was done. The next day was a half day. My guitar buddies and I played some Christmas songs for the first graders, I handed in my last project that was due, and then my teacher let us play on our phones for the rest of the day while telling us about where she got her outfit and about her husband and blah blah blah. It was a chill school day, until I actually got out of school and realized that I left my guitar in the classroom. To this I said, "Screw it, I'm not going back in there," and went to go get pizza with my family in Phoenixville, which was delicious.
This was the start of a pretty chillaxed Christmas break, but I am making this my last day of chillaxing. I have been on my new iPhone 4s too often, since I downloaded a ton of Noah & the Whale, Jay Jay Pistolet, and the Vaccines. But now I shall finish working on the crap that I need to work on, like the Protestant Reformation, doing projects on the books that I have read over the break, and finishing my Alice programming thingy! WOO, SCHOOL WORK! I have also been doing a great amount of philosophical thinking in my spare time lately, thanks to spectacular lyrics of Laura Marling, Justin Hayward Young, and Charlie Fink. And movies. I've made a list of movies that I want to see, or see again. Today, on my last day of chillaxing, I rented "Juno" from iTunes and watched it while my parents took my brother to the dentist. I laughed every time I heard the name Paulie Bleeker. Also Rainn Wilson's cameo killed me. "This ain't no etch-a-sketch. This is a doodle that can't be undid, homeskillet." BLAH! I'M DYING!
So yeah, happy new year to everyone. I kind of lost what I was trying to make of this post. I'm not going to do New Year's Resolutions because they agrevate me. BYE 2012!
